Along with airbags also gets a 6 seater Option Now With Captain Seats In The Middle Row and E20 compliance engine. MPV has received a model year update with an improved safety suite and rejigged seating layouts. Six airbags are now standard across the Eeco range, and the MPV’s 7-seat variant has been discontinued in favour of a new 6-seat layout.
The new Eeco now comes with three-point seatbelts for all passengers, with the front seats also featuring seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters. Aside from these, the MPV continues to offer anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, electronic brakeforce distribution, and seatbelt reminders for the front seats.
The MPV still gets rectangular halogen headlamps, vertically oriented tail-lamps and 13-inch steel wheels without covers. It’s much the same on the inside, with the same dashboard layout and three-spoke steering wheel. However, there is some new trim on the pillars and updated roof liners to accommodate the airbags. Eeco is still powered by an 80hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual, it has been updated to support E20 fuel.
