Hilux Black Edition which has been priced at Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-black treatment on the pickup truck comes at no additional cost over the regular High diesel-AT variant it is based on. Bookings have commenced today, and deliveries will begin from this month itself. The Hilux Black Edition was recently also on display at the Auto Expo 2025.
This new Hilux dons a black exterior paint along with blacked-out finishes for the grille, wing mirrors and door handles – all this is finished in chrome on the regular Hilux. The 18-inch alloy wheels have also been blacked out for a meaner look. There’s also blacked-out wheel arch cladding and a front skid plate on the Hilux Black Edition which are available as an accessories on the regular Hilux. The Hilux already gets a black finish for the dashboard and black leather upholstery, so no change has been done to the interior.
The all-black shade adds on to the existing five colour options of the Hilux: Emotional Red, White Pearl Crystal shine, Silver Metallic, Super White and Grey Metallic.
Features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone AC, front and rear parking sensors, LED headlights, 8-way powered driver’s seat, cruise control, 7 airbags and a rear camera remain same as earlier.
Mechanically, the Hilux Black Edition carries over the sole 204hp, 500Nm, 2.8 litre diesel engine, but it can only be had with the 6-speed automatic gearbox. Power is sent to all four wheels, and it also gets an electronic differential lock and automatic limited slip differential for enhanced off-road ability.
