The new Tata Punch facelift has started arriving at dealerships. These particular images are credited to Akash Gore. Additionally, the carmaker has already revealed the SUV’s variants, key features and colour options. The new Punch will be available in six trims – Smart (new), Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished+.
The major upgrades will come in the form of a new 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine, sourced from the Nexon. While its official power and torque figures are yet to be revealed, the same engine delivers 120PS and 170Nm in the Nexon.
The existing 1.2L petrol and 1.2L petrol with CNG powertrains will also be carried forward. The gasoline motor generates a maximum power of 88PS and 115Nm of torque, while the CNG version offers power worth 73.5PS and 103Nm. Transmission choices will continue to include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, while the new turbo-petrol engine could be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Six colour options to choose from including Cyantific Blue, Coorg Clouds, Bengal Rouge (Red), Caramel (Yellow), Daytona Grey and Pristine White.

Tata has also upgraded the interior with several new features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital driver’s display. However, both features will be exclusive to the Accomplished and Accomplished+ trims.
Other noticeable additions include a wireless phone charger, auto dimming IRVM, a touch-based climate control panel, seats with extended thigh support, connected car suite, voice assisted electric sunroof, a 360 degree camera and blind-view monitor and more.
In terms of safety new Tata Punch consists of six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system and Isofix child seat anchorages.
